Child Minders (Au Pair)
Let me start by saying child minders have their advantages and disadvantages.
Advantages and Disadvantages.
In marriages and couples with infants and children from low wages or where both parent’s work, it is difficult to work without a child minder, this is a known fact. Sometimes child minders are not the answer to this situation, I have always believed that children should be brought up by their mother and father. If a child minder looks after an infant from lets say 6 months in age (bottle fed) with both parents working 09:00 to 17:00, or 10:00 to 18:00, Monday to Friday with the occasional weekends, it’s a fact that the child will have a closer bond with the child minder rather than with the parents. Some children don’t want to leave the child minder when their parents come to collect them. Some kids have been known to come back home with swear words.
I believe that the government should make it law “that company's provide a Crèche for their employees who have infants”. We know the importance of family values and the parents need closer bonding with their children.
Did you know that some child minders don’t really give a dam about your kids or children as long as they get your money is all they are after? It is a risky business using child minders with no proper experience and no watchful eyes checking on the way these so called minders operate.
We have some good ones out their and we have bad ones so you need to find the best one through word of mouth or from your local council office.
