Democracy
Democracy has its advantages and disadvantages.
A Nigerian musician by the name of Fela Kuti once said that democracy in Nigeria was a demonstration of madness.
Do the Politicians understand the meaning of Democracy? Some do. Some are dictators who force in unjust laws, unfair laws for their citizens world wide in different countries.
Tony Blair should have listened to over 1 million matchers on the streets of London telling him not to go to war in Iraq against the United Nations approval. He ignored the UN and the peaceful matchers (demonstrators) and carried on with a crime in invading Iraq. This invasion of Iraq with George Bush of the USA has seriously damaged the credibility of the (UN) United Nations. This has been the biggest mistake he has made since he was Prime Minister. It is true that Tony Blair has done some good to the country but at the same time his government and the Media and tabloids have created fissions in our society of Britain.
Democracy means: Freedom, freedom of speech, having a life and living that life on till death. But doesn’t guarantee a perfect world.
We know dictators exist in African Countries with silence over corruption and killings and with the United Nations who has been weaken by President George Bush of United States of America. I really do think its time for the United Nations to be based in Europe. We have a problem when countries in the Middle East and some African Countries believe that the United States of America influences countries ambassadors in the United Nations.
Under ex President Bill Clinton we started to see stability in the Middle East. After his reign in came President George W Bush with immediately striking Iraq.
