Improvement Ideas World Wide
The Human Rights Law needs to change as we have known criminals exploiting the flaws in the Human Rights Act.
I believe the government should allow people in communities to have more say in how council budgets are spent will be a positive thing for local democracy, accountability and involvement. Some Council have wasted money on silly ideas that are not of any benefit to the community.
- The justice department needs a change, at the moment it’s a big joke. The criminals get of lightly. We need younger Judges with fresh ideas, it’s time to say bye, bye to older ideas, and I mean old acts from way back. The House of Lords, Parliament need to face reality as the criminals are let of lightly and the rich, who break laws, find it too easy to use money to influence justice.
- CCTVs are needed on every street and corner, not speed cameras. With CCTVs everywhere you will be able to catch careless drivers and deter crime. This will also tackle curb crawlers.
- Before policemen and women are given powers to stop and search CCTVs should be placed on every street, and estates.
All police patrol cars can have 3G camera’s installed in them which record automatically when on route to a scene. - Vehicles can be excluded from school streets during school times on arrival in the mornings and departure in the afternoons in built up areas.
- More police activity can be seen in more crime or known hot spots (estates). All vehicles can be fitted with speed limiters or warning bell that ring louder the faster you drive. We all know that this is possible and I have seen it working in Oman in the Middle East. The Americans have had speed limiters in cars for years. We really don’t need speed cameras because it is a money grabbing skim. It generates income for the government.
- Tightening up boarders to deter illegal immigrants. Giving residents in their communities more say in how council budgets are spent will be a positive thing for local democracy, involving members of its own community. Scrapping the competing targets among councils.
- The government must realise that charity begins at home. Finding a solution to relationships in the work place is a must, as it is bad for business and causes problems for the company involved they loose to good employees who break up along the way and become spiteful to one another. There is a growing trend in relationships at work from infidelity.
- The government has introduced a ban on smoking in wine bars, night clubs and in enclosed places, work vehicles. Not bad, but why sell cigarettes after doctors have said they are dangerous to our health. I believe the government is a hypocrite because of the amount of money they raise from the selling of cigarettes they will never ban it from being sold. I believe it’s the same thing with speed cameras. I can’t understand why, sell cigarettes at all in public places, why?
- Tackle the exploitation of vulnerable people, who are being exploited by loan sharks in our society, they no know who they are. They suck their customers in buy offering loans on old cars and then move onto offering bigger loans, when they know you can’t afford it. Then they go for the alternate price, your house your investment.
- The government says we need to integrate more, I agree, but both the past and present governments have created fissions in our society. The citizens of Britain today we all are guilty of allowing segregation to take a foot hold in different residential areas. Some neighbours don’t trust each other in fear of infidelity. We are a nation growing apart and if I have noticed this I am sure some of you have. Some people keep to themselves its fine by me but its better to show manners in public isn’t it. And it’s good for the children to see that because they pick up manners from their parents isn’t this the case anymore.
We are a nation in disarray, while the government over looks the tools that damage families. We are heading in the wrong direction.
Debt is a serious problem to families, the stress and depression and trauma this causes are sometimes difficult to talk about.
There has been a sharp increase in men and women committing suicide in society, because of the pressures from lenders known as loan sharks. The government should recommend a limit on interest rates charged by banks and loan sharks.
Can you believe taking out a car loan for £3,000 expected to pay back £5,726.You pay over one and a half years of the loan, something comes up unexpected after letters from your lender offering you money coming up to your second year of monthly payments. You decide to take a £10,000 loan and you are told it will cost you £268.00 in sixty monthly payments over five years paying back a total of £16,080. You hurt yourself only to find out it’s sciatica in your leg, with a couple of weeks off work, you are not paid sick pay at work, you try to have your monthly payments reduced writing several unanswered letters. You get in touch with Citizens Advice Bureaux who get in contact with the loan company telling them your that their figures don’t add up. You have not missed any payments and you had paid back £11,840 so far. The lender told Citizen’s Advice bureaux that I could take out a new loan with lower monthly payments, but paying more over a longer period. The adviser got in contact with Trading Standards who said this loan company is known to us and other debt agencies with flaws or should I say loop holes in the lending act loan companies like this one will continue to exploit the vulnerable members of the community. They now said the loan was agreed on £10,000 with £268.00 monthly payments and at the end of the agreed term will be £32,000 at a monthly payment of £268.00. This surely can’t be right. For years the governments have been advised that loan sharks exploit the flaws in the trading acts, so a change is needed an fast.
