Tips for getting over your Ex
He or she ended it and he or she feels like his or her future is in shambles. He or she panics and wants he or she back. He or she must forget him or her, not as easy as it sounds but with this article, he or she might learn a thing or two and will soon be picking up the pieces of his or her shattered heart in no time.
- Finalised Closure.
It’s finally over and confirmed that the relationship is concluded, can’t be saved. He or she might say, we’ll never get back together again, I never loved you, it’s not a nice thing to hear him or her say negative things, sometimes these are said to get rid of you. I call it closure. And you can begin to heal, not easy as you already know. - Don’t idolize him or her.
You should not keep in contact with him or her. Don’t build him or her into something great. Never rush to answer any phone calls or emails. Don’t gaze loving pictures of him or her. He or she no longer deserves preferential treatment. - No Contact.
You must now face reality that your relationship is now over. Get rid of anything that reminds you of him or her away from your daily eye contact, change your phone number at home. You don’t want to run mad because he or she has ended it. He or she knows you want him or her back and he or she doesn’t care. Take that as a sign. - Get out Negative feelings.
Get a diary, write your negative feelings down, this helps in its own way. What ever you feel like write it into your diary. - Avoid her Friends, places she goes to.
One thing you must do is go out and have fun with your friends or by yourself. If any of your friends say you should remain in contact with him or her, you may have to shut them out too, at least temporarily. Take time to feel confident in your ability to coupe with everything, when you can,"then you are ready to face the places you once went with your partner." - Spend more time with your friends.
Let your friends give you a wake up call on how your ex-partner wasn’t the one for you. A little camaraderie can go a long way towards getting you back to dating again. - Freedom.
You are now free and single, so why not flirt a little, it helps with healing. Travel, go swimming, jet skiing or what ever takes your fancy. You want to find an activity that allows you to release your anger and alleviate stress. - Remember the Bad times.
The things you did while you were with your partner and she did not approve you to doing. If you feel nostalgic, then think of all times he or she was negative towards you. - Have sex with someone else.
You may find out it’s a lot better and also helps in healing. Like you know, you are now free and single enjoy life. Life is for the living and love is for the giving. - Now please maintain your dignity.
Depression is a disease, draining all your energy with nobody there to work for you or bring money in to pay the bills. You must be strong and face reality as no one is going to pick up the pieces for you, you can count on that as it is a fact.
