Interest Rates

The bank of England must stay focused on the battle against inflation.

Gordon Brown was right to hand over power of control over monetary policy to the bank of England.
The blame of rise in interest rate does not have to be blamed on Gordon Brown, let me explain why.
In our Country Great Britain the problem; “Is we are not educated in financial matters. So some people spend, spend, spend above their capabilities with money made easy from banks, loan sharks and credit firms.
Banks have been giving people mortgages on five and seven times their salary. And with spend, spend, spend and house prices rising, inflation has been rising too. The banks takes no account of the sources of inflation. Yet British households are the victims of current price rises, not the authors. Its routine because we are brain washed in our society, not learning from past costly mistakes.

It’s an old routine that keeps returning from the same old mistakes made in our society 30 years ago. We spend money like its going out of fashion;  everyone’s remortgaging some to keep up a false image. Some just don’t care anymore, while those who care are genuinely caught in a web of financial debt some have taken their own lives. Some families end up in divorce and couples, gays, and lesbians separate.

The Banks and Credit Firms, Media and Tabloids are the biggest problems in society the world over.
It is time for governments to act or recommend changes to the way Banks and loan sharks operate. The Media and Tabloids need to stop exploiting women to sell papers or get in viewers.

I am not Mr Perfect so I do know you can’t change a person’s characteristics but the government can limit the tools that damage families and single parent families. So far I don’t see any changes ahead. It is always talk and no action from politicians and dictators. People are taking their own lives because of debts and pressures from loan sharks who make unjust threats in daily phone calls.

How many more have to die from this kind of situation before the government takes action. If not now then when?
